Cancellations: Let’s keep it simple

Look, we know life happens. Plans fall through, kids get sick, or work just gets in the way. We try to be as fair as we possibly can. While a lot of Sariska hotels have these massive, confusing contracts, we’d much rather just tell you how it is.

If you’re hunting for refundable hotel bookings, here is the deal at Chokhiwadi:

• 15 days (or more) out: If you tell us at least 15 days before you’re supposed to arrive, we’ll give you a 100% refund. Total peace of mind.
• 10 to 14 days out: If you’re in that middle window, we’ll do a 50% refund.
• Under 10 days: This is the tough part. If you cancel with less than 10 days to go, we can’t really offer a refund. Usually, by then, we’ve already said “no” to other people who wanted your room.

What about a “Rain Check”?

If you aren’t ready to give up on your trip, we do offer a flexible cancellation policy where you can just reschedule. As long as you give us 10 days’ notice, you can move your dates (depending on what’s open) for free. It’s way better than losing your deposit.

The “Real Life” Stuff

• True Emergencies: If something really bad happens—a medical crisis or a disaster—please, just talk to us. We aren’t a giant booking machine; we’re people. We’ll look at things case-by-case and try to help out where we can.
• Groups & Holidays: If you’ve booked out half the resort (5+ rooms) or you’re coming during a crazy busy long weekend, the rules are stricter and usually non-refundable. Just check your specific booking email for that.
• Booking Sites: If you booked through a site like Airbnb or Booking.com, you have to talk to them. We can’t hit the refund button on their systems.
• The Money: No weird “processing fees” here. If you’re due a refund, it goes back to your card or bank in about 7–10 days.
